Today we road-tripped up to Scotland!
The drive took about 4 1/2 hours, and we passed by some beautiful countryside. It was lovely drive. :)
I feel like I should share an experience we had on our drive. We were in Scotland in a town. All of the traffic had slowed down a little because we were approaching a round-about. All of a sudden a policeman in his car with his emergency lights on did a U-turn right in front of the van that was in front of us! I hit the brakes hard and we slid a little on the wet pavement. I thought "there's no way we're going to stop in time!" As we were skidding I had an impression that angels were helping us stop. We did stop just in time to avoid hitting the van. We were so grateful! Just a little shooken up. Two Sundays before we left on our trip, a member of our church congregation prayed for us in our sacrament meeting, that angels would attend our family as we travelled. And our family regularly prays to our Father in Heaven. I know that He hears and answers prayers.

This will be our home away from home for the next week. Oh wait! We don't have a home.... so this is it! HAHA.
The village that we're in is called Lundin Links. It's right on the coast of South East Scotland. It's an awesome quaint old fishing village. We love it!
We ate dinner at the Crusoe Hotel, right at the water. It reminded me of the "Pirates of the Carribean" movie scenes that take place in the pub & in the village by the sea. I felt like we were in the movie set!
The food was delicious. I only ate 1/2 of my burger, by the way. It was HUGE!
Wow the town looks amazing!
