Here's a pic of Dave eating a meat pie. He LOVES these things! Whenever we're out doing any kind of shopping or wandering around, he gets himself one or two or four! 

On Thursday evening Nov. 12th we went over to our friends' the Hughes' for dinner. They got the keys to their new house that afternoon, so we met them at their new house and then Dave and Peter went out and got fish and chips for us all. We had a fun indoor picnic with them. :)

On Friday, Nov. 16th, in the afternoon we went to the LDS Preston Temple. It was so nice to be there. It's beautiful, and also had such a peaceful, good feeling inside of it.

This temple is on a large plot of land, that also has a chapel, a family history center, a mini distribution center and the Preston Missionary Training Center on it. We didn't realize that all of this was there.

After the temple we drove over to Blackpool. We drove along the beach which was beautiful! We got out of the car, but only for a few minutes because it was so bitterly cold in the wind. Unfortunately we missed the season of the Illuminations. Shucks. We ate at a Pizza Hut on the beach. It was really good! It was much bigger and had a better selection of food than our Pizza Hut's in America.

Friday evening we were very saddened and sickened to learn of terrorist attacks in Paris, France. Such sad and disturbing news. I went to bed that night feeling so sorry for those whose loved ones were killed in the attacks. I believe 140 people died. It also left us unsure of our upcoming plans to travel to Belgium and Paris....
