Monday Nov. 9th was another, school, shop, travel prep, work day for us. After dinner Aunt Marian pulled out a surprise for the kids. Grandma and Grandpa Sherwin had sent $$$ over for each of the kids! They were thrilled! We took a picture, and so Uncle Mick pulled out his cash! :) The kids' bills were 10s. Uncle Mick had 20s, which explains Josh's face. Haha! :)
On Tuesday, I had to return our rental car and pick up another one. Back when we rented it we weren't sure if we'd be going to Southern France at this time. I left early in the morning to do a couple of errands on the way. I had figured out, the day before, how to catch a bus from the one rental place to the other. It took all morning to get it all done. Dave and the kids went with Aunt Marian and her walking group on a walk in Glossop. They did 3 1/2 miles and then went to Wren's Nest for lunch, so I met them there. Aunt Marian treated us to a delicious buffet lunch.
After dinner we did a Facetime call with our friend/realtor Tim, who walked us through 2 homes in Springville that we're interested in buying. We are really interested in 1 of them, and we hope that we'll be able to buy it. It's a different experience for us, to look at homes over Facetime instead of in person!
In the afternoon we did more school, housecleaning and work. After dinner, Dave dyed my hair for me! I was desperate to have it done, to color my roots and revive the color all over, and coerced him into doing it for me. :) That's a first for him. I'm grateful for a willing husband!
