On Saturday, Nov. 14th, we awoke still feeling somber from the events the night before. We emailed our older kids who are flying out to meet us in Paris next week and made plans to talk to them in the evening.

We went ahead with our plans for the day to go with Aunt Marian to Manchester. We went to the Imperial War Museum and to the Christmas markets. We took the train with her this time. It was another sobering experience, to go to the war museum, and see many reminders of so many people who have given up their comforts and even their lives to help us all have the opportunity to live with freedom and peace. And to go there right after the terrorist attacks on Paris was even more poignant.

We ate lunch at the museum cafe, and then went over to the Christmas markets. So fun, except that the rain never let up!

Don't mind me! HAHA. It's good of Marian and Janae, though!
A funny thing happened on this bus ride. It was raining so the floor was wet. Josh was goofing off, swinging around the pole in the middle of the train. Tyler was "sitting' on one of the leaning cushions, across from me, Janae and Marian. Josh swung around and backed into Tyler, who lost his grip on the wet floor and fell down on his backside!

Tyler got himself a cool drawing/writing book.

AMAZING hot chocolate that we all got. I had coconut flavor. MMMMMmmmm.
In the evening we talked with Austin, Jess, Seth and Brooke on a Google Hangout, about our upcoming trip to meet them in Paris. We all felt good and at peace about going still. So we are going to go. Our prayers are with the people of Paris.
It was fun to visit with all of them at the same time.
