The last few days have been nice, to settle back here at Uncle Mick and Aunt Marian's. We've also gotten a lot of "office work" & planning done. And school for the kids. On Friday night Dave, Aunt Marian, Tyler and I went to see "Spectre" in the movie theater. It's the new James Bond movie. Tyler and Dave have been wanting to see it since it came out on Monday. They were excited to be able to see it in England.  I only went because they needed me to drive, because Aunt Marian's car is in the shop. Here are our reviews of the movie:
I liked lots of it and thought it was fun, and of course James Bond is studly. Haha. But there were disturbing scenes in it. Yuck. Overall, I didn't need to see it.... !
Dave was also disturbed by some of it. He said he doesn't want to see it again and that it was over the top.
I think Aunt Marian's opinion is similar to mine.
Tyler loved it.

Saturday was Halloween. Dave went golfing early in the morning with Peter. Here's a beautiful picture that he took of the sunrise.

Aunt Marian, Janae & I went shopping in Denton at the outlet mall. Janae found a good coat. I found some pants, but when I showed them to Dave, he didn't think they looked good on me, so I took them back! :)

In the evening we went to the Ashton ward's Halloween trunk or treat Halloween party. They served potato/meat pies and beets for dinner. We had fun, and it was good to see the Hughes family again.

Josh painted his own face and hand. Later he added red on the bottom of his face. Janae & I had bat stickers on our faces.
On Sunday we attended the Hyde ward. We had a nice time at church there. This is the ward that Dave's parents lived in when they joined the church some 49ish years ago!

After church we went to Peter & Natalie's for dinner. (Mick and Marian's son & daughter-in-law.) They live in Manchester. Peter went to culinary school and used to be a chef. He made a delicious pasta with carbanera sauce. We had a nice afternoon visiting with them, and playing games after dinner. They have great kids - 2 boys, and a cute little dog, Cocoa, that our kids love!

When we got back to Mick & Marian's we called our kids in America and had fun visits with them.
