Yesterday, Sunday we went to church in Ashton again. Our boys were asked to help with sacrament meeting. I'm glad that they were able to serve. After church Peter and Natalie and their boys, and their dog, were over at Mick and Marian's. :) They came for dinner and a visit and games. We had fun with them again. After they left we packed for our trip, and also talked to Austin and his new girlfriend, Jessica. It was our first time meeting her. She seems really sweet and fun. We're happy for him and we're looking forward to meeting her in person when we're back home.
Today, Monday Nov. 16th, we got up REALLY early to fly to Brussels, Belgium! I got up at 3:30am! All went well with our flight, but I had a slight migraine when we arrived. It took a while to get to our apartment. We got some food before we came here. The kids and Dave got Belgian waffles and I got a panini, just because I was fighting the migraine and I knew that sugar wouldn't be good. I did have one bite of Dave's and it was amazing! Topped with fruit and chocolate sauce. Heavenly! :)

Brussels is known for cartoonists. There are a few walls painted like this throughout the city. |
Our apartment here in Brussels is right in the middle of the city. It's quite a dirty city, which is too bad. We'll be able to walk to some of the attractions, though, which is nice. Our own apartment is nicely furnished and is comfortable.
After a 2 hour nap for me, Dave, Tyler and I went and found a grocery store (we walked) and bought the week's worth of groceries. It was quite a lot to carry home. Each of us had 2 heavy bags, one in each hand. We had soups, bread and cheeses for dinner, and a delicious custard filled cake for dessert.
