Saturday was another fabulous day of seeing new sights and having new experiences. We were in London still. We started the day with a "Hop-on-hop-off" bus tour. We stayed on it for a couple of hours. It took us around to sights that we had already seen, but also a few new ones.

The famous Savoy Theater
The famous Savoy Hotel
Here's some info off of the internet about the Savoy Hotel & Theater: The theatre opened on 10 October 1881 and was built by Richard D'Oyly Carte on the site of the old Savoy Palace as a showcase for the popular series of comic operas of Gilbert and Sullivan, which became known as the Savoy operas as a result.
The theatre was the first public building in the world to be lit entirely by electricity. In 1889, Richard D'Oyly Carte built the Savoy Hotel next to the theatre. For many years, the Savoy was the home of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company, and it was run by the Carte family for over a century.

It was a little chilly on the tour, but Josh & Dave chose to ride in the back of the top anyway.

And here's a little about Fortnum & Mason from the internet: Our legacy began in 1705 by Hugh Mason, from a small store in St James Market and a spare room in his house, and the Fortnum family who had arrived in London as high class builders reinvigorating Mayfair in the wake of the Great Fire. William Fortnum, who was quite the entrepreneur, also took a post as Footman in Queen Anne’s household and in Mr Mason’s spare room, where Fortnum met Mason. Fortnum's ingenious idea for selling Queen Anne's half used candle wax, at a profit, paved the way for the beginning or a respectable business. The rest, as they say, is grocery.

The Hard Rock Cafe - the first one ever - started in 1971
Harvey Nichols - where Lady Diana used to like to shop. Two protestors were outside protesting the sale of furs.
Memorial to Prince Albert, commissioned by his widow - Queen Victoria
Royal Albert Hall
When we got off the tour, we found some lunch, and then went to the Science Museum. We saw an IMAX movie of the ocean, which was great, but Janae and I fell asleep during it. :)

Janae & I went over to the Kensington Palace while the boys stayed at the Science Museum and watched another IMAX movie and looked around there.

Dresses worn by Princess Margret, Queen Elizabeth's sister. Because she wasn't the queen, she was more at liberty to wear styles of the times. :)

"My dearest Albert put my stockings on for me. I went in and saw him shave. A great delight to me." - Queen Victoria !!! :)

For dinner we went to China Town and found a delicious Chinese buffet.

There are so many people out at night in London!

After dinner we wanted to go to M&M Land (well, Josh did). We didn't know where it was, so we took rickshaws there, pulled by bikers. It was a lot of fun! :)

M&M Land was lots of fun, too.
